A 2015 study estimated that 3 in 4 recently transitioned veterans have experienced a mental health condition at some stage in their lifetime, and suicide rates are 3x higher for involuntary discharge from service compared with voluntary discharge for ex-serving males. Your support will save lives, as sport provides camaraderie, connection and mateship.
By donating generously, you will give veterans and their families an opportunity to get active and connect with their communities through sport both at a grassroots level or internationally.
Allowing us to coordinate and manage the veteran contingent of major international events such as the Invictus Games with the ADF, integrate veterans into community sporting clubs and programs nationally and build connections between existing sport and veteran focused networks.
