Invictus Australia are seeking Expressions of Interest for competitors to take part in the Life Saving World Championships on the Gold Coast in August 2024 – Competing for Team Invictus Australia.

The Lifesaving World Championships is the biggest competition in lifesaving world-wide featuring elite and masters’ competitors. Further information about the event and schedule can be found here and an overview of Team Invictus Australia’s 2022 participation can be found here.

team structure

Invictus Australia will select up to ten (10) female and ten (10) male competitors to formulate the interclub team to compete against the best lifesavers in the world. The beach and ocean events will take place at Kurrawa Beach and the Pool Rescue events will take place at the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre.

A selection and preparation camp will take place on the gold coast from 10th – 12th May 2024 and is a requirement for final team selection:
